The Independent Media Centre UK is a grassroots network of individuals, groups, and independent and alternative media activists committed to using media production and distribution as a tool for promoting social and economic justice. Unlike the corporate media, Indymedia UK is not owned by anyone, or funded by big commercial conglomerates and advertisers. That means we are in need of your support to sustain our effort.

We have considerable monthly expenses to keep the server and the large (over 80GB) archive online. We need your help to cover the costs; please consider donating or even better setting up a monthly standing order even if it's only for a pound a month -- between us we should be able to keep this important activist resource online.

We are currently using the Sheffield Indymedia Nationwide saving account to accept donations. Donations via any branch of the Nationwide and standing orders of any amount will be greatly appreciated and we won't divulge any donors' details to any third parties.
